Vitamin D status and concomitant autoimmunity in celiac disease

Vitamin D deficiency is common in celiac disease (CD) patients but does not predict other autoimmune diseases (AD). However, vitamin D deficiency is linked to a higher risk of psoriasis in CD patients.
