Late sensory changes following chest drain insertion during thoracotomy

Chest drain insertion may cause nerve injury, indicated by altered thermal sensation. However, this study found no direct link between chest drain sites and persistent post-thoracotomy pain syndrome (PTPS) sensory changes.
