Is there a relationship between subjective pulsatile tinnitus and petrous bone pneumatization?

Increased petrous bone pneumatization is linked to subjective pulsatile tinnitus. This condition, where air cells extend into the temporal bone, may cause the pulsatile tinnitus sound.
