Myocardial perfusion scintigraphy imaging (MPI) offers minimal added diagnostic value for patients with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD) who have a normal exercise electrocardiography (ECG) and low-to-intermediate risk. Further MPI use in this low-risk group is not recommended.
