Routine microbiologic culture of kidney transport fluid: a single-center retrospective study

Routine microbiologic culture of renal transplant fluid (RTF) is not evidence-based. This study found positive RTF cultures in 66 patients, with only 2% developing complications, suggesting limited clinical significance for routine screening.
