[Psychological responses in women with normal pregnancy]

Normal pregnancies have been followed up during the three trimesters in 246 women. The study techniques included a structured interview, Kraepelin's counting test of mental working capacity and personality inventory for pregnant women. The mental working capacity was found to be significantly decreased in the pregnant women; in addition, patterns of a psychological response to pregnancy were first delineated.
