Adiponectin receptor 1 expression is associated with carotid plaque stability

Weak Adiponectin receptor 1 (ADR1) expression is linked to vulnerable carotid artery plaques. Enhancing ADR1 may prevent vulnerable plaque formation, offering a potential therapeutic target for atherosclerosis.
