[Tasks of the community nurse in fluoride prevention]

In 1985 a committee was formed in the Country Csongrád for working out a complex programme for caries prevention. The Committee decided for introducing medicinal prevention between the birth and the 10th year of age. The doses of the Dentocar tablets (Chinoin, Budapest) in concordance with age were determined in knowledge of the fluoride values of the drinking waters of the country. Children in communities get the tablets in the nursery homes and kindergartens while those cared for in homes through the district nurse organization. The team-work is praised by the good results.
