Update on the proposed revision process for United States phamacopeia chapter 797 pharmacuetical compounding-sterile
1United States Pharmacopeia, Rockville, Maryland.
Abstract:
Information contained in published standards and/or guidelines must be reviewed and revised as required. Those practitioners affected by published standards and/or guidelines should understand and be involved in the review and revision procedures. The United States Pharmacopeial Convention, Inc.'s standards set forth in the United States Pharmacopeia 30-National Formulary 25, the most recent version of this publication, as well as those included in their publication titled USP Pharmacists' Pharmacopeia, is an example of a standard-setting body that encourages and welcomes the participation of compounding pharmacists to be involved in the review and revision process.
