[A clinical study on brain perfusion during cardiopulmonary bypass]
1Second Department of Surgery, Yamagata University School of Medicine, Japan.
Summary
Optimal cerebral perfusion during cardiac surgery is approximately 600 ml/min flow and 40-80 mmHg pressure. Cerebral oxygen consumption remained stable even with reduced flow, suggesting preserved autoregulation.
