This article presents two supervisory models, the Critical Events Model and the Heuristic Model of Nonoppressive Interpersonal Development, to enhance multicultural competence in psychotherapy and supervision. These frameworks guide ethical practice by addressing diverse client needs within therapeutic and supervisory settings.
