Background:

Linear IgA dermatosis (LAD) is a rare autoimmune blistering disease.
The association between LAD and internal malignancy is infrequently reported.

Observation:

Two new cases of LAD associated with hematologic malignancies (chronic lymphatic leukemia and plasmacytoma) are presented.
This brings the total documented cases of LAD and internal malignancy to twelve.

Findings:

The study highlights a potential link between linear IgA dermatosis and specific hematologic cancers.
The findings suggest that patients with LAD may warrant investigation for underlying malignancy.

Implications:

Early recognition of this association may lead to improved diagnostic strategies for LAD patients.
