High serum vaspin concentrations in patients with ulcerative colitis

Serum vaspin levels are elevated in ulcerative colitis (UC) patients and increase after remission. This suggests vaspin may help diagnose UC and monitor disease activity in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
