Abstract:
Described is a psychoanalytic clinic in a period when it is broadening its scope and expanding to meet community needs. Three programs geared to specific groups in the community are outlined: the elderly, the discharged mental hospital patient, and the adolescent female homosexual. The treatment programs are discussed in some detail in terms of development of the group, use of staff, and treatment goal.
