Background:

  • The NIH Toolbox Cognition Battery (NTCB) is a brief, computerized assessment tool for neuropsychological functions in children.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To describe the performance of typically developing children and adolescents on the NTCB.
  • To examine the influence of age and sociocultural variables on NTCB test performance.

Main Methods:

  • Administered the NTCB to 1,020 typically developing males and females aged 3-20 years.
  • Sample was diverse in socioeconomic status (SES) and race/ethnicity, recruited across 9 US sites.
