Temporal bone pneumatization in cystic fibrosis: a correlation with genotype?

In cystic fibrosis (CF) patients, temporal bone pneumatization (TBP) is extensive and not linked to CF genotype or sinus volume. This suggests different influences on TBP compared to paranasal sinus pneumatization in CF.
