Summary

Beta tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) with Demineralized Bone Matrix (DBM) showed higher bone regeneration than β-TCP alone for maxillary alveolar ridge defects. This combination is effective for localized horizontal ridge augmentation prior to dental implant placement.
