Fas, FasL, and cleaved caspases 8 and 3 in glioblastomas: a tissue microarray-based study

Low expression of cleaved caspase-8 in glioblastoma tumors indicates a poor prognosis for patient survival. This suggests the Fas-Fas-ligand pathway may be inhibited, allowing tumors to evade apoptosis.

- Targeting caspase-8 activation could be a potential therapeutic strategy for glioblastoma.
