High urine IP-10 levels associate with chronic HCV infection

This study found increased levels of IP-10 in the urine of Hepatitis C virus (HCV)-viremic patients, suggesting urine IP-10 as a potential biomarker for HCV infection. This offers a novel non-invasive method for detecting the virus.
