Lymphocyte-induced angiogenesis assay--in cutaneous malignancies and cutaneous and genital warts
Lymphocyte-induced angiogenesis assay (LIA) was used to evaluate immunocompetence of lymphocytes obtained from patients with basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, genital viral warts and from renal allograft patients under immunosuppressive therapy with multiple cutaneous warts. LIA revealed no abnormalities of angiogeneic capabilities of lymphocytes, except these from immunosuppressed patients which evoked significantly lower angiogeneic reaction than lymphocytes from healthy controls.
