Elevated parathyroid hormone after parathyroidectomy delays symptom improvement

Persistently elevated parathyroid hormone (ePTH) after parathyroidectomy may delay symptom relief by six weeks. However, symptom improvement becomes similar between groups by six months post-surgery.
