Comparison between traction-countertraction and modified scapular manipulation for reduction of shoulder dislocation

Modified scapular manipulation (MSM) offers a faster and more successful first-attempt reduction for anterior shoulder dislocation (ASD) compared to traditional traction-countertraction (TCT). MSM is also found to be safer, cheaper, and more patient-acceptable.
