Summary

Exercise may alleviate depression-like behaviors linked to estrogen deficiency. This study found exercise increased estrogen levels and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the hippocampus, suggesting a potential therapeutic role for exercise in managing mood disorders.
