A valuable education: Teaching case management to tomorrow's clinicians
1Sue L. Jensen, PhD, RN, CCM, MSCC, is Chair of the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), the first and largest nationally accredited organization that board-certifies case managers. She is also an associate professor at Kirkhof College of Nursing, Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI, where she teaches nursing, health policy, and case management to undergraduate and graduate students. She holds a PhD in medical sociology from Western Michigan University and a master's degree in nursing from Michigan State University. Dr. Jensen is also part owner of ALARIS, a case management company that offers specialized consulting services to maximize the recovery of injured employees.
