[The Revista Medica de Chile 100 years ago]

Included in that issue was an article by David Benavente MD, dealing with the last cholera epidemics. This disease reached Chile in 1886, from Argentina. An estimated 40,000 people died from it. Another article on the same subject by Wenceslao Díaz MD is also included.
