Evaluation of two different root-end cavity preparation techniques: A scanning electron microscope study

Ultrasonic (US) retrotips and Erbium,doped: Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Er: YAG) lasers do not significantly differ in their potential to create cracks in root-end cavity preparations. Both methods showed comparable results for crack development in dentinal walls.
