Primary anorectal melanoma on FDG PET/CT

Primary anorectal melanoma, a rare cancer, was diagnosed in a patient presenting with rectal bleeding and pain. F-FDG PET/CT imaging revealed widespread metastatic disease, initially suggesting rectal carcinoma.
