IgA deficiency, autoimmunity & pregnancy: a population-based matched cohort study.

Women with immunoglobulin A (IgA) deficiency have a slightly increased risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes, including lower birth weight and smaller for gestational age infants. These risks are reduced when autoimmune diseases are not present.
