Malignant epithelial tumors observed in hernia sacs

Malignant epithelial tumors in hernia sacs are rare, with most being metastatic. While routine microscopic examination isn't cost-effective, careful gross inspection of hernia sacs, especially in older patients, is crucial for detecting these advanced-stage cancers.
