Abstract:
A quick and easy to fabricate instrument to carry amalgam to a retrofill preparation was described. The carrier is made of two parts, a needle or angiocatheter and some appropriately sized orthodontic wire; both items are readily available in dispensaries and dental clinics worldwide. The instrument is sterilizable and reusable and may work better in certain compromised access situations.
