Does glycemic control reverse dispersion of ventricular repolarization in type 2 diabetes?

Improved glycemic control in type 2 diabetes did not reverse abnormal ventricular repolarization. This study found that increased QT dispersion and Tpeak-Tend in diabetic patients persisted despite lower HbA1c levels.

- These findings suggest that other factors may contribute to or sustain repolarization abnormalities in type 2 diabetes beyond glycemic levels.
