Do blue-light filtering intraocular lenses affect visual function?

A blue-light filtering intraocular lens (IOL) showed no significant impact on visual acuity, color vision, or contrast sensitivity compared to UV-filtering IOLs. Macular health remained unaffected after two years, indicating a lack of clinical evidence for enhanced macular protection.
