Towards efficient solid-state photoluminescence based on carbon-nanodots and starch composites

Environmentally friendly phosphors were created by dispersing carbon nanodots (CDs) with starch. This novel approach prevents photoluminescence quenching, yielding efficient light emission for applications in LEDs and sensors.
