Abstract:
The author discusses morbid conditions of the upper digestive tract giving rise to dyspepsia, especially those involving gastric function. Several classifications are reported, as well as studies concerning gastric emptying. The effects of spa treatments with drinking of mineral waters is examined in relation to primary dysfunctions of the stomach and biliary passages.
