Summary

This study found that while androgen levels like plasma testosterone are linked to hirsutism severity in premenopausal women, they are not the sole determining factor. Other parameters also play a role.

Background:

  • Hirsutism is a common endocrine disorder in premenopausal women.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the correlation between the degree of hirsutism and specific hormonal and metabolic parameters.
  • To identify which parameters most significantly correlate with hirsutism severity.
