Aortic elastic properties predict occult coronary artery disease: a multidetector row computed tomography study

Aortic stiffness index (ASI) can predict occult coronary artery disease (CAD) noninvasively. A cut-off value of 3.42 for ASI may help identify individuals for preventive strategies against atherosclerosis.
