Western Eurasian ancestry in modern Siberians based on mitogenomic data

Genetic analysis reveals a significant Western Eurasian component in Siberian populations, with many lineages originating from early to mid-Holocene migrations. This study clarifies the ancestry of Siberian mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and its links to human migration events.
