[Effect of abdominoplasty on intraabdominal pressure]
Abstract:
Dynamics of intraabdominal pressure (IAP) on stages of preparation for abdominoplasy was studied intraoperatively and postoperatively with the objective to avoid the abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) occurrence. Main attention was drawn to preparation for the operation, using gradual rising of IAP in patients with relaxation of musculoaponeurotic carcass and correction of its changes under IAP control. Analysis of the results have witnessed, that abdominoplasty conduction after a certain preoperative preparation and the IAP level control intraoperatively permits to avoid ACS.
