The effect of spatial frequency on peripheral collinear facilitation

Collinear facilitation, where surrounding patches aid target detection, occurs at 8λ for all tested spatial frequencies. Lower spatial frequencies (1 cpd) also show facilitation at 6λ, indicating differences in peripheral visual processing.
