Atypical post kala azar dermal leishmaniasis with "muzzle area" swelling

Summary

A 50-year-old man with persistent facial swelling was diagnosed with post-kala azar dermal leishmaniasis. Diagnosis was confirmed by positive serology and PCR, and he was successfully treated with sodium stibogluconate.
