A new Nucleic Acid Isotachophoresis LAMP (NAIL) device integrates isotachophoresis and loop-mediated isothermal amplification for rapid nucleic acid extraction and detection. This diagnostic tool enhances point-of-care infectious disease testing by simplifying sample preparation and instrument requirements.
