  • To identify predictive factors associated with contrast volume (CV) utilization during elective and emergent cardiac catheterization (CC).

  • Identifying patients at risk for higher CV use can aid in preventing contrast-induced nephropathy.
  • Further research is needed to fully elucidate the interplay between PCI and CV in predicting CIN risk.
