Surface characteristics of reciprocating instruments before and after use--a SEM analysis

Scanning electron microscopy revealed that all endodontic reciprocating instruments had debris before and after use. Waveone instruments showed significantly more defects and deformations than Reciproc instruments after chemical-mechanical preparation.
