Evaluation of a primary nursing system using the quality patient care scale

The quality of nursing care at the Children's Hospital National Medical Center was measured with the QualPaCS evaluation instrument before and after the implementation of primary nursing. Significantly higher mean QualPaCS scores under the new primary nursing system at CHNMC suggest that this change improved the quality of nursing care.
