- Structural brain abnormalities, specifically in corticostriatal circuitry, are present at the onset of BCECTS.
- Comorbid ADHD is associated with additional structural aberrations in children with BCECTS.
- These findings highlight the link between structural brain network disruptions and specific developmental electro-clinical epilepsy syndromes.
