Does Stone Removal Help Patients with Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections?

Surgical removal of asymptomatic kidney stones can cure recurrent urinary tract infections in about half of patients. However, factors like hypertension and certain bacterial infections may predict persistent infections post-surgery.
