Background:

Growing demand for eHealth professionals necessitates advanced training.
eLearning and simulations are increasingly vital for knowledge transfer in eHealth.

Purpose of the Study:

To develop a virtual lab for eHealth eLearning courses.
To identify and integrate suitable simulation tools for practical skill development.

Main Methods:

Defined knowledge profiles and selected a specific use case for the virtual lab.
Evaluated and selected six simulation and testing tools.
Utilized UML use case diagrams to model user-tool interactions.

Main Results:

Initial feasibility tests of the selected tools yielded positive results.
The chosen tools demonstrated potential for practical application in eHealth training.

Conclusions:

The developed virtual lab shows promise for enhancing eHealth professional education.
Integration of these simulation tools into eLearning courses is recommended for improved knowledge transfer.
