Platelet function parameters in management of hepatic hydatid disease: a case-controlled study

Platelet function, assessed by MPV and PDW, differs significantly after hepatic hydatid disease surgery. These markers are useful for initial follow-up but less so for long-term monitoring of hepatic hydatid disease patients.
