Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the relationship between fluctuating asymmetry (FA) in specific body traits and aggression levels in adolescent boys.
  • To determine if FA of physical traits correlates with self-reported physical and verbal aggression.

  • Measurements of five body traits (ear height, digit length, ankle circumference) were taken from 90 boys (aged 10-15).
  • FA was calculated for each trait.
  • Self-reported scores for physical and verbal aggression were collected.

  • Further research is warranted to explore the causal pathways between hormonal regulation, FA, and aggression.
