Selecting the 3.5 ppm saturated image as a reference improves uniformity in chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) imaging. This method enhances amide proton transfer (APT) image quality by optimizing image registration.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare the efficacy of different reference images for motion correction in CEST series.
  • To evaluate the impact of reference image selection on the uniformity of registered amide proton transfer (APT) images.

  • Utilized a 3 Tesla scanner for data acquisition in healthy volunteers and brain tumor patients.
